mii

The exhibition mii presents the Coastal Sami history and culture in the North Troms region. Mii demonstrates how the present, present and future are connected and how societal developments shape people. Here the audience encounters various events, traditions and individuals. The themes that are emphasized and will be presented are cultural monuments and pre-Christian religion, handicraft (duodji) and combinations of livelihoods, Laestanianism and beliefs and society as well as political mobilization.
